Dear Centrepoint Family,
We have some exciting news! Our church has found a new home and will be in our own leased building by the end of this year! After a lot of prayerful consideration, the church board has gone ahead with the decision to rent a warehouse on Discovery Drive in Bibra Lake (3.5km from our current venue). This facility will house our church, youth group, offices and Bible College for the next few years. The plan is to move into the building by November 2008. How exciting!!
In order to make this wonderful vision a reality we do need you to stand with us in this whole process.
A few ways that you can help:
- Pray: That our application for "Change of use" and "Building license" will go through smoothly with the City of Cockburn. City Councils are notoriously picky when it comes to churches, so pray that we will find favour.
- Pray: for miracle finance. Fit out for this venue will cost approximately $60,000. God is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine.
- Pray: for the rental of our current office premises and new office block. Both of these premises will act as an income stream for our church.
Practicals:
- Continue to give consistently. Centrepoint Church is blessed by generous people who sow sacrificially into the vision of the house, and we thank God for you. Where possible we encourage our faithful tithers to consider giving via direct debit. This helps us immensely because it shows us a consistent giving pattern that helps us to budget more accurately. If you are interested in doing this, please contact the church office.
- Help us build the house. If you are a skilled tradesperson and you are willing to volunteer to help out then please send us an urgent email. We need the following tradies:
- Plumbers
- Tilers
- Carpet layers
- Painters
- Electricians
- Project managers
These are exciting times in the life of our Church and we love and appreciate your passion and support in building this house. God Bless!
