Thinking of Visiting Centrepoint?

We would love to have you as our guest.

We want you to feel right at home when you come so we've provided the information below to make your visit more enjoyable.

About Us

Centrepoint is a friendly, family-oriented church, with a strong community focus. We are passionate about building a church that will transform this city, nation and world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are affiliated with the Australian Christian Churches (formerly Assemblies of God in Australia).

Sunday Mornings

Church is held at two locations every Sunday. Our West campus meets in a converted industrial warehouse in Bibra Lake and has approximately 250 people attending each Sunday morning. Our east campus meets at Thornlie Senior High School's Performing Arts Centre and has approximately 50 people attending that congregation every Sunday.

As you enter both buildings our friendly greeters will be at the entrance to welcome you on your way in. Feel free to let them know that you are a visitor and ask them any questions you may have about the church.

Our services have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere about them. We have a multi-cultural congregation with people of all ages and backgrounds. Our worship style is contemporary and vibrant; the message will be inspiring and relevant. The service may also incorporate dance, drama, multimedia and song items from time to time. Each service lasts for an hour and a half.

Visitors

Feel free to join us for a cuppa and light morning tea after the service is finished. Don't be alarmed if you're asked to fill in a form for your contact details. This is purely optional. We just want to keep you up to date with upcoming events and also stay in touch.

Dress Code

Most of the people will be dressed casually (jeans and t-shirts are quite common).

Children

Children are welcome to attend the service, but we also offer fantastic Sunday morning programs for children aged between 1 - 12 years old. Just ask one of our hosts to show you the way. If you have a baby, there is a special "Parent's Area" with playpen and toys etc, to amuse your little ones if they are restless in the service. This area will also allow you to hear the message whilst keeping an eye on your little one.

Need Prayer?

At the end of every service, our prayer team will avail themselves to pray and chat with those in need. If you have a personal struggle, don't suffer alone! We are here to help.

More than a Sunday Service

There are many more programs run by Centrepoint Church during the week.

These programs include our connect groups, youthgroup, women's ministry and recovery programs. For more information on any of these services please visit our Information Desk at church or look them up in the upcoming events section of the website.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you soon!
